In one of my previous class I wrote about how I thought my chemistry class would be my hardest class. Right now I am so excited because we are learning something I already learned in high school. The other great part is unlike other thing in high school I actually remember how to do it. This is so exciting to me for the fact I feel like I get break in the class, and I don’t have to keep stressing over what I am doing. As of right now we are learning to name the compounds. This ranges from naming the symbols and writing it into word form, or seeing it in word form and writing it into symbols.
When I was learning how to name compounds my teacher in high school was super strict. If we had one little thing wrong we got the whole problem wrong, so never less to say spelling had to be perfect. I use to hate my chemistry teacher for this fact, but now I feel better prepared for college. Although I would never admit this to him his teaching method was not so bad. Plus the way he pushed me to become better logical thinker did help me in the long run. He did not just worry about me passing the class; he worried about me using my knowledge to do well in college.
Overall I am just happy to report because of high school my hard chemistry class is currently not so bad. Although the class is not bad now it does not mean I can step back and not pay attention. Now is the time to do well in the class and bring my grade up.
