Today I think I will work ahead on my journal entries for my First Year Experience class. I take this class every Thursday at eleven. In the beginning of the school year I did not know what this class would have in store. I thought it would be about how to take notes and to study, but I was wrong. The class has us make goals and has us search for answers from our inner self’s. I like the aspect of the class having us work in groups; this allowed me to meet new people. The other thing about the class I like is it helps develop reason behind thinking. For example the other day in class we had to write down a discussion with our selves. I mean don’t get me wrong this class has positives, but sometimes I feel it is a waste of time.
In the class sometimes I feel like we talk about things that are common sense, and we keep going over it like it’s a foreign language. An example of this every class we talk about our goals and what it means. By having so many classes I know what my goals are, but I am sick of going over them so much. I feel like the class can be a waste of time, for example we played a game discussing all the different task that a paperclip can do. I had fun with it, but then I remembered the class and the book cost me money. Then I got aggravated that I had to take a class full of nonsense.
On the bright side the class is about over, so I will have one less class to worry about. I guess since the class is so easy I will just have to deal with it and pass the class with an easy A! So for future reference for future students who have to take the class. The class is easy so don’t stress over it, and remember just do the work and you will receive the A wanted that will be wanted!
