So as we all know it the weather was crazy yesterday! I don’t remember it ever snowing in October. I mean it can never snow on Christmas so maybe we will get lucky, considering the snow is starting this early. I am the type of person who only liked snow during the Christmas season, anything before or after I can deal without. Well since it snowed I thought I would tell you my experience I had. Yesterday I had to get out of bed early so I could drive in the scary weather. Of course it started out as sleet with high winds, and as I got closer to Lima the snow started to fall. The campus looked like a winter wonderland. I thought it was pretty in the beginning until my feet got wet. I thought wearing my boots to school with this crazy weather would be a good idea, but did I guess wrong. I like to wear boots so the bottoms of my pants don’t get wet; I hate the feeling of wet pants around my ankles. The thing I hate worse is wet cold feet. Apparently my boots could not withstand the slushy water, because it ended up in my boots. I was so mad because I was at school from eight in the morning, until two. All I could think about were my cold wet feet. I f that is not a distraction I don’t know what is. So that is my first snow of the year story, I hope you all had a better experience than me.
I agree with you! It is hard to remember the last time it snowed for Christmas. Even though it snowed in October, I loved it. I always love the first snow because it is so pretty. I also had a scary time driving. I saw several cars in ditches after semis had passed them, and blew them off the roads. I also hate when my pants get wet too. I think it is when you take off your shoes and the cold wet feeling hits you. It makes your your whole body get cold. I also hated the fact that I forgot my jacket in my car so I had to walk to class cold. Then I did not have a scraper in my car becasue I did not think it was needed in October, but it was. So I had to drive home cold and wet, but when I got home it was nice to wrap up in a blanket, and take a nap. I still find it so hard to believe that it did snow in October, and it has been like 5 yeaars since we have had snow for Christmas. I am hoping that it happens this year. It will make it the best Christmas if it does. I really enjoyed reading your passage. It was a fun passage and enjoyable. You had great points that a lot of people would agree with. Hopefully we get that snow, and it does not snow that early again. Have a great year!
