I know most students have to take the First Year Experience Class. Not my favorite class, but this is such an exciting moment for me. I have completed the class and don’t have to take it anymore. My week feels so much less hectic for the fact I don’t have to work on the time consuming journal entries. I would usually try to work on them every Tuesday, but it always turned into doing them every Wednesday. I am just so excited that it’s Wednesday and I don’t have to worry about those silly journals. Right now I just feel like I completed so much even if it wasn’t a hard class. The feeling that I now have two classes done for college just makes me feel like I am getting somewhere. The other positive of having the class done is now I only have English on Thursdays. What a relief to go to school and only having to worry about one class. I feel bad for those who are just starting the class; it just makes me so happy I decided to take it in the begging of the semester.
Although the class was not hard I am anticipating the moment my teacher emails me that I have received and A. I know most people get A’s in the class, I just feel like it would be nice to see all of my hard work rewarded with a letter grade of an A. I guess you can say I worry what my grade is until I receive the letter grade. I just like to know my grade for sure. So for those of you just starting the class good luck, and remember it is an easy class so just do the dreaded journal entries!
