Tomorrow in my computer class I have an exam. My exam is over excel, something that I don’t find very hard. The only problem is I have not been to class for three weeks because they were lab days. On lab days we just have to work on homework, and I got mine done on the first lab day. This is why I am feeling a little nervous for the test. I feel like I will forget some of the material causing me to make stupid mistakes. For computer class I feel like it is hard to review because the tests are mostly like a project. The test does not really have questions on it about the material. The test consists of giving us directions on how to make a spread sheet for excel. This may sound easy, but if you forget how to do something the whole test could be messed up. I am scared I will forget something, and this will cause me to get a bad grade. As of right now my plan is to look over the notes to get refreshed on the subject. I am hoping by looking at my homework it will help me as well. I guess all I can do is look over the material, and do my best. I felt like I did fine with the homework so I should be okay. I guess like every test I get worried, and computer class is no exception. Hopefully like the other test for the class I will get a good grade!
I am extremely happy that I got out of having to take a computer class this year at Rhodes State. See, on the contrary of the upcoming “technologically savvy” generation that I am included in, I am really terrible and bad at working with computers and other high technical devices. I mean, yeah, I can work on any Microsoft program, but anything outside of that small and miniscule window of technology is extremely and unfortunately a whole new language to me. Two of my best friends, ironically, are both majoring currently at ONU for computer programming. One day, when we were having a day dedicated to homework and course work, I was taking a break from writing a paper, and I look over at their computer screens. I was completely dumbfounded how they were utilizing basically a whole new language to program an application to a portable tablet device. I looked at it and it basically appeared what I would imagine an alien would send a tweet about. It was basically a whole bunch of symbols and binary mumbo jumbo. So, that is why I am extremely happy that I do not have to break out into the technological world besides using Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel, and the Internet. I know I sound extremely stubborn with this whole anti-technology thing, but, honestly, I am just ever so dumb and ignorant when it comes to computers. So, as long as I can work a Google search engine, I feel as if I am okay. Good luck in your Computer Class, I hope you get a good grade on your test!
ReplyDeleteI would be scared too. If it has been a while then I would worry a lot. I had a computer class in high school I had to take a computer class, but we got to use our books for the exam. Each week we had to get a certain amount of lessons done, and if we did not we would only get credit for the ones we did. I would sometimes find myself having to go in during study hall, and even after school to finish it. We even got to use the book to help us. I could not image not having the book beside me for reassurances. I think oit would be hard to recall so much knowledge espcially if I learned it a while ago. I hope it went well I better it will. I think you can always go back and kind of review by doing some of the steps in the book to help know what excatly it is you should do. That is what I did before I tested out of that class, and it really helped me in the long run. I ended up getting a 100 on it. I think I did at least; all I know is that it was a good grade. It really did help me though because it pushed me up on my waiting list. I hope it went well, and you got a good grade! Do not stress to much! You will do fine! Have a great year, and good luck in the future!
