Today I scheduled my classes for my next semester. When I say today I scheduled my classes I mean at twelve this morning. I went to bed and sat my alarm clock, so I was able to get into all of my classes I wanted to be in. Although I feel tired now, I am happy to say I am in all of my classes I need to get me on track for my Physical Therapy program. So with getting the all general classes out of the way, I will eventually get into my PTA classes. I cannot wait for the moment when I am taking classes that pertain to the career I want to be in. I feel pretty lucky that I got into Biology 1110 and Biology 1110 Lab, just for the fact that they are either about full or filled up. I am so happy I spent the time working on my schedule so next semester will be exactly what I want it to be.
Although I got my classes scheduled it was not easy. When I was trying to log into Stars the website kept freezing. The fact that everyone chose to make their schedule at the same time did not help. When this was happening it made me wonder how hard it would be to register for my PTA classes, since those are a little more in demand. I guess this is a start to our careers, and we have to do what we have to do! I hope everyone got registered for their classes, and are ready for next semester!
Wow I can not believe that you set yuor alarm to do that! I think a plus of being a post secondary student is that you get to schedule classes first, so you get the times that fit your schedule. I am going to hate doing that next year. I know what you mean I just want to start my OTA classes now. I wish that our programs either had a shorter waiting list, or accpeted more people into the program. I think the wait for OTA is about one year. That is not to bad, but I would still like to have gotten started right away. I am glad you got the class you wanted. Hopefully that makes for a fun semester. I did not know you had to take biology for that program. It sounds like that is a very popular class since it is filled up. That is a good sign I guess. I feel like that would be a hard class though, but I have not had a biology class in a while. It is good that you are on track to get into your program. I am a very planned person, so I am trying to plan out mine. It is hard because with post secondary you can get ahead, but you might be stuck doing nothing because you are still on the waiting list. I hope that I will be okay, and that everything is on track. Hopefully you stay on track too. I know a lot of people going into that program, so it will be a fight to see who gets in. Good luck with the next semester, and the rest of your year!
