Miscellaneous #9 Time for a Break!

I am so excited I finally have a break. Today was my last class for the week, because I don’t have to go to my math class tomorrow. I was so excited when my math teacher told us that because she has a meeting we don’t have class. The great part is school is closed on Monday for Veterans Day. It is nice to finally have time to sit down and work ahead on homework. Just because I won’t be in school does not mean I will not work on school stuff. Tomorrow I have to take a Chemistry test online, but it is better than having to drive to school. The great part about having a break from school is all my friends are coming home from college this weekend. It will be nice to finally be reunited with all of them at the same time. So it is nice I can work on homework today and tomorrow. This will give me time to see them on Friday night and so on. The other great part about this break is I now have time to turn in all my job applications. I feel like I now have school under control, and can add working to my task. I worked all through high school until the store closed. I feel empty without a job, and I need to get one soon. I love the feeling of being independent, so the sooner I can get a job the better. I hope everyone enjoys having Monday off, and remember it’s for Veterans Day. So make sure you thank a Veteran!

  1. Sounds like you have a busy weekend coming up, but a fun busy weekend (: I can’t wait to have Monday off either I think it’ll be a good change of pace for a little while although I’ll be working the rest of the weekend.. I can look forward to not having to drive up to school. I have a lot of catching up to do on my homework, so I think I’ll be doing that over the weekend and probably on Veteran’s Day. My dad is a veteran, so we will probably end up going out to eat that evening. I know Applebees is having free meals for veterans or something like that ha! I’m sure he will be all over that :P It’s good to hear that you will be reuniting with all your friends too. That’s always exciting and fun to be able to spend time with friends. I don’t really have too many friends that are away at college so I don’t really know how that feels. When I graduated early from high school I didn’t really have too many friends with to begin with and then we moved to Sidney from Celina, so I REALLY didn’t know anybody from there ha! It’s okay though, I’m pretty content where I’m at and am still to this day figuring out this town. It’s really a hot mess sometimes ha! Anways, I always get off topic on these things, but have a great weekend and veterans day and hopefully school won’t be too much the next month or so because with my busy schedule I’m literally pushing myself day by day to get stuff done! Oh well, welcome to college I guess ha! (:

  2. Much like you, I am extremely also excited to finally have a break off of school. Ever since a few weeks ago I have been praying and hoping and hoping for a break. Now that I finally had one because of how we did not have school on Veteran’s Day, I feel extremely refreshed and happy now. Like you, a lot of my friends came home from college and it was a great time actually seeing them for once. A lot of them had changed for the better and I thought that it was an awesome time distributing conversation about how we had grown up and seen the world in a liberal and free manner. It was really nice to see my group of friends all together, having an extremely great time. Not only was this a very nice occurrence, but I also finally had the time to sleep in for once. I am not going to lie, ever since this semester started, I had been pulling really late nights to get my coursework done because of the fact that I have work right after school. It was a really nice relief to come home after a night of being reunited with my friends and having the chance to actually sleep in. Even though I probably slept have of the weekend away, I am really happy that I finally am well rested and ready for school again. I am now all caught up and am ready to get ahead for the first time in a few weeks. I’m happy to see someone else had a great weekend, now I can’t wait for Holiday Break!
